A state in it's infancy, Roanoke was only just recently acquired by the U.S. and despite the booming industry in Lemoyne county, it's off to a rough start. With a lack of funding and poor planning, the local law enforcement is floundering from a lack of manpower, which has led to Roanoke becoming a hive of scum and villainy as ne'er-do-wells and corruption seek to fill the vacuum of power. Though this has yet to fully grasp the federal governments' attention, some hope (or fear) that the day will come when Roanoke will be brought to heel.
